The October/November Slim & Strong SPIN Winners are in!







In October we kicked off a brand new version of Slim & Strong - the SPIN edition. Think 75 minutes of high-intensity spinning paired with intermittent stops for strength training using dumbbells, resistance bands and your own body weight. I don't think this type of sweat fest can be matched. We've had a blast and the results show that you can work off serious pounds while having fun. 

The biggest loser is Andrew!

This was Andrew's first month as a newly-wed and he managed to pull of some amazing results. 

Weight loss: 10.5 lbs
Body fat loss: 4%
5.4% of his original weight lost
.72 lbs of muscle lost (that happens when you cut calories low and is normal. going forward increase your protein and veggie intake)
9.8 lbs of pure fat lost

Congrats to your $200 shopping spree at city sports! 

The second prize goes to Aroka:

Aroka came back after a year-long hiatus from Slim and Strong and apparently she was serious about getting results: 
Weight lost: 12 lbs
Body fat % lost: 2.4%
5.74 % of her original weight lost
8 inches lost
3.2lbs of muscle lost
8.8lbs of pure fat lost

Congrats to winning 10 boot camp sessions! 

 The third prize goes to several people who have all achieved a great difference in a few areas:

Marjorie: lost 2.6% body fat and gained .6 lbs of muscle.
Anne lost 6.5 lbs and 2.1% body fat and lost 5.4 lbs of pure fat and 4.1% of her original weight!
