Stair Climbing 101

Stair Climbing 101
  • Do you want strong and lean legs?
  • Want to burn mega calories in very little time?
  • Start climbing stairs!

The video will show you how it’s done.

Find a stairwell with at least 10 flights of stairs. Within the first minute you'll find that your heart rate will rise quickly because stair climbing is an anaerobic exercise, which means your body is generating energy without oxygen. Your legs will feel heavy quickly as they produce lactic acid to slow you down. Make sure you start slowly and build up to more and more flights over time.
The great thing about stair climbing is that you can do it anywhere - during your lunch time, in your building, in hotels when traveling, and it takes literally no time to do - 20 flights take only about 3 minutes to climb.

This coming Sunday, March 4th our team Butt Kickers (a bunch of very fit boot campers) will participate in the Multiple Sclerosis Fundraiser. We'll be climbing 66 flights of stairs to the Top of The Rock. We've assembled a killer team with very strong legs. We'll do you proud and hope to take home again the prizes for fastest participants!

is very much appreciated and anyone who donates by Friday will receive a free indoor session as a thank you! Click here to make your contribution. Thank you very much!
