My favorite fat-burning snack

My clients always ask me for great snack ideas, so when Well & Good called to do a story on the favorite snacks of nutritionists I was excited to share mine. Here it is and be sure to check out the other tasty ideas.

Nutritionists spill their favorite snacks

Ariane HundtAriane Hundt, MS

As a nutritionist and founder of the butt-kicking Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp, Hundt knows a thing or two about eating for energy. Her go-to pick-me-up is ahomemade take on chia seed pudding with a jolt of caffeine. Hundt combines one shot espresso, a cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, four tablespoons of dark cocoa powder, one scoop of chocolate whey protein powder, four tablespoons of chia seeds, and five ice cubes in her belovedNutriBullet, then lets it sit for a few minutes to thicken.

Chia seeds contain omega-3 fatty acids, which are filling and improve the digestion. Plus, "the whole dish feels just like an indulgent dessert!" she says.

  1. Hi Ariane, do you just stir everything together or do you use a blender? Thanks for sharing this snack! Manuela

  3. Manu, I put it all in my NutriBullet and that blends it up.
