Who Won the NutriBullet Giveaway?

In August we called all our FACEBOOK friends to enter into winning a NUTRIBULLET. We got a lot of responses and randomly chose a winner by drawing names from a hat:

The winner is Erin!  She promises to give it to her dad. We look forward to hearing how he will put it to use!

If you want to find out about upcoming giveaways and contests, please friend us here

Cheers, Ariane

  • Erin O'Brien I would love to win a Nutribullet for my dad Jerry L O'Brien. He seemed intrigued by the Detox when I told him about it over the weekend. My dad was the one who did all the cooking growing up and continues to do so today. While he receives a subscription to Cooking Light, he also receives one for Bon Appetite (read - you don't ever have a bad meal when he's cooking...it just might not be that good for you). My dad is overweight, takes medication for high cholesterol and high blood pressure. He is active in that he walks the golf course multiple times a week as part of his "job" (he's retired), but because of his weight I don't know how much his game has improved. If my dad wins the Nutribullet, I will sign him up for the September Detox. I feel that he would benefit from having a quick and easy option for nutrition while on the course and also at home. He mentioned wanting to come back and visit for Thanksgiving, I would like to know that he was in better shape to attack the four flights of stairs up to my apartment because we all know the turkey dinner he prepares in said apartment will be delish...and I will make sure it's good for us!
  • Sarah Zarrow I'd love to win one to share with my aunt--we're both trying to make healthy changes, and while we're good at exercising and cutting out junk, getting enough veggies is a challenge. We're both on the go all day, and there's only so many interesting ways to make cut-up veggies. And we're sick of expensive salads! This seems like the perfect solution to our health/budget/commuting concerns.
  • Monique Hoppe I would love to win the NutriBullet for me and the little one growing in my belly.

I am not satisfied with the blender I own. While I love green shakes, my current blender cannot get them smooth enough, which makes for an unfortunate taste experience
! I would like to replace some of my snacks by mean green smoothies – this would greatly enhance the way I eat and provide me and my baby with all the healthy vitamins we need.

After my pregnancy, I would love to participate in the Brooklyn Bridge Detox program. I think this would give me the kick I need to cleanse my body and start a new with my weight loss program.

In addition, I would like to prepare nutritional baby food using the NutriBullet. That way my little baby boy gets plenty of healthy meals and the best start in life.
  • Nicolette Ward So I've not purchased a nutribullet yet because I'm sure my fiance would object. We already have a magic bullet, but it just doesn't get the job done in any drinkable way! From reading the posts and comments, the nutribullet can handle all the veggies and ice that re needed to make the perfect healthy shake! If I won the nutribullet, I would throw out the inferior version we have, and make lots of yummy healthy shakes to give me the boost I need to lose weight before wedding dress shopping!
  • Jenn Butler I've been following the success stories of the Nutribullet and the Slim and Strong and am ready to get on the saddle and buckle down and get my weight under control. I want to learn to make my own shakes instead of buying the expensive ones from juice stores. Would love to make hummus, guac, etc with it too! Hopefully, my willpower, along with the Nutribullet will help me take back control of my weight.
  • Anna McCanna Nutrition, time, being basically fit and healthy are things that are crucial to my general effectiveness and success in everyday life. I have found this out the hard way. They are all key to my performing effectively at work and in life in general. I have suffered greatly when my nutrition, etc. is off. I realize now how very sensitive my body is to not being supported and fueled both adequately and properly. The idea of this detox and the incorporation of the NutriBullet is genius! I asked my boyfriend for a juicer for Christmas to help me with my nutrition and he gave me one. I had researched the various juicers and found what is considered to be a great one and … it just takes soooo long! Long to assemble it, juice, then clean it, and it is large.  I am not trying to complain, these are what I consider to be facts. I generally do a lot of running around and due to limited time, my nutrition suffers and that breakdown leads to other breakdowns. Without the nutrition, I lack the energy, without the energy, my fitness suffers and it goes on downward from there. I enjoy eating healthy. A huge contributor to the problem for me is lack of time and convenience.

The program that Ariane is offering opens my mind up to many possibilities. Just from reviewing Ariane’s flyer and reading about the program, my mind is whirling about all the potential convenience and benefit of combining nutrition, efficiency and fat loss/detox! I am up for a turnaround in my life all the way around and if my foundation is shaky, that will limit my chances for success in that undertaking. Nutrition is one of the primary components of my nutrition! Just last week I was talking with my boyfriend about the length of time it takes me to do what I need in the morning and get in my vitamins, breakfast, etc.; (I don’t believe in shoving a handful of vitamins down my throat in one shot). I don’t think I would be able to do that anyhow. With a NutriBullet, I would be able to put all or many of my vitamins/supplements into a drink and blend it and the NutriBullet would pulverize or liquefy them so in addition to saving time ingesting them, they will be absorbed more efficiently. I looked up the NutriBullet and it seems really powerful and fast.

Often fitness/nutrition plans require time for meal preparation, etc. and there is a learning curve, etc. I imagine that incorporating the NutriBullet would streamline and simplify things a great deal! So, I would get the benefit of having the NutriBullet to whip up whatever nutritional meal Ariane has designed as part of this plan, then I can grab it and go if necessary. Quick prep, easy clean up and ingestion. Genius‼! This is so on target for a person like me. I would LOVE to have a bullet and participate in this program. It would address my limited time concern, getting in my nutrition in and then this would feed into the other areas in a positive way – priceless! Okay, by unanimous decision, my life now needs a NutriBullet!

This is so awesome. There truly is hope. Love is in the air!
  • Brandie Moreno I would love to win a nutribullet! I did the detox using my friend's nutribullet and I'd love to keep the smoothies going! I've lost 8 lbs, I feel great, and I am motivated to keep it going!
  • Jennifer Elizabeth Boyer I would love to reach a healthy set body weight for my height. I have not been at a slender/slim weight that made me feel confident since 2005 and I am very depressed and frustrated with my body right now. Low self-esteem and zero confidence go with me everywhere. I exercise almost every day - sometimes twice a day! However, it seems no matter how healthy I try to eat, I still must need to make a drastic change and I feel that the NutriBullet can help me lose the extra 30 pounds I have been carrying around for eight years now. I need help as nothing I do on my own seems to work and I feel like crying right now I am so frustrated and have such hate toward my body (and body image). An endocrinologist told me yesterday that I need to "accept my weight as it is because it was not going to change." I could have murdered him for not wanting to help me. What a waste of time and copay. Never going back to him ever again. Please pick me!
  • Samantha Kahn protein shakes and kale shakes to go plus make my own GF flour and thus save me money while getting healthier
  • Sarah Falcon So many things! An avocado, kale & protein smoothie, soups! dressings! freshly ground coffee!

    • Patricia Laboy I plan to give it to my co-worker, Alma, who called me today about seeing a doctor to prescribe medication to lose weight. She has a thyroid problem and has gain 50 pounds after going from doctor to doctor about her condition to find out what is wrong. She is desperate to see the scale go down and I try to explain to her that she needs a plan and to stick to it. She has incorporated cardio every morning, but I feel that she needs to really change her eating habits and I think one of these machines would put her in the right direction.
    • Barb Weast Toney I was just diagnosed with cancer in my neck, lung and above my liver and if I won it I would make nothing but organic fruit and vegetable drinks to build my immune system to fight it!
    • Paulina Subocz Make drinkable meals!
It would change my life because it would help me eat, as in put fuel in. I don't eat much, don't like to, but can always get a protein shake down... so I bet I could down those cool real food liquid meals I could make with that.
And by getting everything I need (vitamins, protein, fat, etc) into my body I'd have more energy to train and could train more effectively.
