Typically, December has always been the month where people see little, if any changes and instead work more on maintaining their weight than fat loss. So, with this month being no different, the Slim & Strong SPIN participants made great changes in terms of dropping body fat and putting on muscle (thanks to extra calories), but the weight changes weren’t all too dramatic.
Don’t beat yourself up if you didn't see the change you were hoping for. Temptations are everywhere and a big part of celebrating the holidays is the food and drinks. Not in excess, but since they’re laden with calories a few pounds are easily gained.
Do your best to just maintain your weight in the next week and once the holidays are over you can then get back to a clean diet that will make you feel like yourself again.

The biggest loser is Alex!
Alex has been doing Slim & Strong for a while now and has been really good about showing up for workouts, even outside of slim and strong. Despite putting on one lb this month, she managed to drop 2.7 lbs of fat while gaining 3.7 lbs of muscle. great changes!
Weight loss: 1 lb gained
Body fat loss: 1.9%
3.6 lbs of muscle gained
2.7 lbs of pure fat lost

The second prize goes to Hillary:
This was Hillary's first month and she certainly made her diet work for her. Take a look at her results:
Weight lost: 4 lbs
Body fat % lost: 1.7%
2.3 % of her original weight lost
3.3 inches lost
.23 lbs of muscle gained
4.2 lbs of pure fat lost
